Our Project Delivery Method

Step 1 - Initial Pre-Construction Meeting

Tell us your dream! In our process, during the first meeting, our team wants to hear about our client's vision. We want to make sure we fully understand your vision behind taking on this effort in order to meet your expectations fully.

Step 2 - Creating a Budget

During this step, we will review the information learned from step one and begin to develop a preliminary budget for our client's review. Our goal is to assist our clients in understanding monetary project requirements by providing current labor and material market conditions. Our team aims to be fully transparent with all construction and management costs; we take ownership in making sure our clients are fully aware of potential project costs from the start.

Step 3 - Creating a Schematic Design

After a budget is created, we will begin to create a schematic design that will incorporate the client's project needs while aiming to stay within the project budget created in step two. McKinney Construction Management is proud to have strong relationships with talented design teams and dedicated tradesmen to reach out to during this phase to help create a design that incorporates all of our client's initial project needs.

Step 4 - Design Review

Once the schematic design has been created, our team will meet with our clients to discuss the design and allow time to review any feedback the client may have. Once client feedback has been received, we will then meet with the project designers to incorporate any changes to the final design.

Step 5 - Construction Begins!

McKinney Construction Management encourages our clients to celebrate the start of construction on their projects. We guarantee the hard work and time spent upfront during the pre-construction planning and coordinating will cause countless headaches during construction. The efforts spent in pre-construction separate McKinney Construction Management from other general contractors. We take ownership and treat our client's projects like our own, so we make sure we are obtaining the most skilled workforce and the most talented designers. During the construction process, we make sure we meet schedule deadlines, stay on budget, and deliver a final quality product.

Step 6 - Delivering a Promise

Once construction is complete, our team wants to make sure we deliver on our promise to guide our clients through exhausting processes in order to achieve their vision. The decision to embark on a construction project is also a decision to start a relationship with a general contractor. We take pride in valuing our relationships with our clients by truly treating their projects like our own.
